Ghost Net Radio Group provides structured training designed to build practical communications capability. Our focus is not theoretical knowledge alone, but the ability to deploy, operate, and adapt in real-world environments.
Training is built around HF, VHF/UHF, and digital communications systems, with an emphasis on reliability, efficiency, and operational discipline.

Licensing Assistance
Ghost Net Radio Group supports individuals working toward their amateur radio license by providing guidance, preparation resources, and exam coordination assistance.
While the group currently maintains limited Volunteer Examiner (VE) capacity, we actively assist candidates in locating and preparing for local exam sessions through established testing organizations.
Support includes:
• Guidance on Technician, General, and Amateur Extra licensing paths
• Study recommendations and preparation strategies
• Assistance locating local in-person or remote exam sessions
• Pre-exam readiness checks and question review
• Coordination support for scheduling and testing opportunities
Our goal is to ensure candidates are prepared, confident, and able to successfully complete the licensing process.
As the program grows, the group intends to expand its VE capability to support internal testing and certification.
Hands-On Projects
Ghost Net Radio Group emphasizes practical skill development through hands-on projects focused on building, configuring, and deploying real-world communications systems.
Members actively design and assemble operational equipment used in both fixed and field environments, reinforcing training through direct application.

Ghost Net Radio Group conducts field exercises to validate training, test equipment, and develop operational proficiency in real-world environments.
These exercises are designed to simulate conditions where communications must be established, maintained, and sustained outside of controlled settings.
Activities include:
• Portable station deployment and teardown
• Field antenna setup and tuning
• Power management and battery sustainment
• HF and VHF/UHF communications under varying conditions
• Digital communications (Winlink, FT8) in field environments
